It's time to get a new weighing scale!
This morning, I thought I'd weigh myself, since I haven't taken my weight in over 6 months. It turns out the bathroom scale stopped working, so it's time to get a new scale. Unfortunately, there is no room in the budget to pay for the scale this month. We have the annual car insurance to pay, and that will probably absorb the buffer in our checking until my next paycheck comes in.
I'm actually more concerned about weighing my husband at this point, because he's the one who's gained weight rapidly the last few months, and whose blood tests came back high in triglycerides and with above normal insulin resistance.

I have been doing a poor job of recording my diet and weight the last few months. Ever since my brother came over for the summer, I gradually started to fall back into some bad habits. I will have to try to lose the weight again.

I have a weekly meal schedule tacked up on my refridgerator wall. I feel bad about not updating this journal lately, because I haven't bothered to log in for a while.

Can't believe I dropped below 90 lbs! Haven't been doing anything other than doing more intense P90 exercises and maintaining a healthy diet.

Before I really wanted to lose weight, I would just eat anything, and usually the stuff I ate was stuff I liked to eat. It's sad how when I look back, most of the stuff I liked to eat was high in carbs, and low in fiber. I still feel it's okay to eat some of that every few weeks or so, but definitely not on a daily basis.
