new start in conjunction with Simple app for tracking Intermittent Fasting(IF).Using the two apps to benefit from the best of both. Fat Secret has excellent calorie counting skills, while using IF techniques. Is this my new motivation? Trying to make baby step changes in life, in order to survive in a quality way. My body is falling apart in so many different places: prolapsing uterus that is affecting my bladder, arthritis in R knee getting ready for a knee replacement, Type 2 diabetes must be controlled, possible small hernia starting 1" from navel(?), sleep apnea demanding use of CPAP machine and change of sleep cycle, reduction of M Eslon narcotic, used for chronic pain, weight reduction to help them all. Sigh! So much to achieve and all I want to do is be able to sew. Is that achievable through this path too?

192.8 lb.
What a pleasant surprise! I have avoided the scale over Christmas due to the amount of sweets and treats I ate. So, when I weighed this morning I was so pleased that I hadn't done as much damage as I thought. I anticipated being 198 or even 200+ lb. I did better than I thought!
Now to get busy getting this extra 12 lb off and return to my lowest weight of 180 lb! Happy New Year, 2022.
p.s. here's hoping that Rick may also lose weight. It will help his breathing, pain levels, and ability to move. I love him but don't know how to help him. He rejects any efforts I make to help, so I believe my lesson is to let him figure it out himself. And to be here if he asks for help in any way.
