I've been trying my whole life to lose the extra weight, never once was I a "healthy" weight while I was growing up. I graduated high school at 375 pounds. My all time high was 505 pounds,2011-2013 I lost 274, then gained 174 of it back during and after a difficult (nearly deadly) pregnancy in which I had to stop exercising, stop teaching water aerobics, and couldn't even teach swim lessons anymore. Then I spent many weeks in the NICU with my son after he was born. And I just kept allowing life's hurdles take precedence as they required all of my energy.

11/2017 I started outpatient treatment for an ED - binge/restrict. I've spent the last 8 months trying to figure out how to eat "normally" and lose weight at the same time. I am in the maintenance phase of recovery.So, I'm working on staying in the middle of the road.

I am a 39-year-old full-time grad student, married and have three kiddos at home (4 total) - a 12 year old son, 11 year old daughter and 4 year old son. My family is awesome and I love them with all my heart (they never allow for a dull moment in life!). I want to be thinner and healthier for not just me, but them also.
