Salsa is yummy as a substitute for salad dressing; however, the sodium content is high and affects my joints. Together with marinated tuna steaks ( in lite soy, sesame and hot chili oil) my sodium content has been higher than usual the past few days. This causes my arthritis to flare which then snowballs to lower activity level sequence, Weight gain is temporary with this scenario, as long as I flush my body with extra water! You would think that I would remember this pattern as I've done it so many times! Duh! Watch the salts! Old dog...no new tricks here...
