Hello fatsecret family! I challenge every person who reads this journal entry to do something nice for YOURSELF today (and I am NOT talking about food either!). We deserve it!!! Today I am going to paint my nails. (Not professionally just at home... I havent made time to do my nails in maybe a year... And they look hideous!). What are YOU going to do for yourself today? Share! Id love to know!

(((I changed all my historical weights so now its correct :) ) I had to change start weight because I am using my wii scale instead of my bathroom scale (wii scale weighs everything 6.5lbs heavier). Anyhow I dont know how its going to show up... may say I gained wieght... but I did NOT!!!!! I have been using both scales and just recording the bathroom scale but now just going to use the wii and get rid of the bathroom scale. I really lost 6.2 lbs this week. Today is 4 weeks of my diet and all together I am down 12.2lbs. I hope to keep bringing this number down!!!

Okay I knew it was going to be horrible, I procrastinated weighing myself... And I also procrastinated about posting my new weight. But its time to face the music!
I cant believe I gained not one not two or even three... But FOUR pounds this week. Geez!!! Ughhh, talk about two steps backward.
Im not mad or upset... a little disappointed, but not too much. Im not giving up on my diet either. So what I messed up!!!! I have been on my diet for 3 full weeks and 2 of those weeks were amazingly great and one was amazingly bad. But this is a new week and Im determined to make this a better week. The way I see it, I am going to have many many more bumps on the road to my weight loss. If losing weight was easy none of us would be here on fatsecret. As long as I can manage to have more good weeks than bad weeks, then I will be okay.
Here are some of the reasons for my weight gain... All the things I have a long term love-hate relationship with... Kitkats, reeses, hershey kisses, and french fries. I hate that I love them sooo much! Well now that I got them out of my system for awhile I should be okay ;)
On a positive note... I had salad every day. I did not drink soda. And most importantly I have not given up on my diet. I am in this for the long run people!!!!
I worked out alot today, I am feeling G-O-O-D!!!! I am sending positive vibes to all of my buddies, and all of the people on fat secret who are fighting the bulge with me, and especially any of you who are feeling discouraged right now. Dust yourself off and keep at it! We can do this! ((((Hugs)))))

Worked out for about an hour Saturday.. I was out of town saturday night and most of the day sunday. there was absolutely NOTHING healthy to eat where I was at (brotherinlaws very beautiful mansion of a house in the middle of nowhere. and I cheated on my diet... big time. II still ate salad. I still avoided soda. HOWEVER..... He has a movie theater room that is fully stocked with every snack you can imagine, There was nothing to do except watch lots of movies. and eat. junk food. hershey kisses, kitkats, reeses, potato chips, cupcakes, and peanut m&ms. I only ate a little bit of it... (In comparison to how much more I wanted to eat) But I am soooo afraid to step on the scale and face the consequences tomorrow morning. Tomorrow is going to be a payback day. Im going to the gym to log my 10 miles... And maybe try and burn off some of those guilty calories that probably ruined all my hard work over the past almost 3 weeks!!! Why?!?! My goal was to lose 2 lbs this week. Weigh in is tuesday so right now I am just hoping my weight didnt increase from last week. I hope everyone else is having a better weekend than me!

I just lost 5lbs this week! That is 10lbs in 2 weeks!!!! I am really pleased with myself for making it through 2 weeks and for taking small changes to become healthier that I hope to make permanent habits...
In particular eating salad every day, limiting fast food, and no more diet soda... I only worked out one day in 2 weeks. Im not going to beat myself up about that because from the beginning I decided to slowly increase exercise as my weight plateaus throughout my plan. So anyhow... this week my goals are to walk at least 10 miles total, no soda, and eat 1 salad a day... My goal weight loss is to lose 2 lbs this week... Anything else is bonus!!! Wish me luck! A big motivator for me is all of you going through this with me. It really helps to know I am not alone. (((((Hug)))))
