Hi everyone! This is a fresh start for me and I'm really liking this website. I tried so many others and never seemed to connect with anyone.

I am 56 years old and weigh more than I ever have in my life. I''m a yo yo dieter, going up and down for various reasons. I have a husband who I've been trying to bring myself to divorce for 10 years, a 33 year old son,(disabled) a 31 year old daughter (nurse) and a 21 year old in college (Math major). I am a secretary for the local school district.

I drink too much, I eat too much, and I am unhappy both at home and at work. I don't consider myself depressed. I've been there and this doesn't feel like that. I'm just unhappy with my circumstances. Time to make some changes!

I have hobbies I enjoy-Quilting, crochet, knitting, computer games, and reading. I read anything and everything-right now it's "Flood" by Stephen Baxter. If you want a thought provoking book, this is a great one. You'll never look at rain the same again.

Goal-get under 300 pounds!!!
