Multi Vitamin and supplements
yeah i would be interested in a link to something like that, just to see if it would be cost effective for me or not

Multi Vitamin and supplements
I was wondering what some people have been taking for a multi-vitamin, I am having trouble finding a good one that doesn't include Iron. Also I have trouble swallowing big pills (haven't really had much practice with pills in my life) so I like small or chewables. However the other chewable I found contained sugar and even had partially hydrogenated soybean oil.

Also what other supplements have people found useful for the diet.

Abou to Get Started but have a few Questions
Thanks for the replies, I read the New Diet Revolution and it is much better than the atkins essential book. There is a lot more detail about why the diet works and I found that quite helpful.

Thanks again for the replies and I am looking forward to getting started after the new year begins.

Abou to Get Started but have a few Questions
Thanks for the input, I will probably stop by barnes and noble to pick the book up. Are any of the other books worthwhile? For instance the cookbook or carb counter(although I can get all the carb information online) or anything like that? Let me know.

I am also interested in other peoples input for the alcohol question listed. I just recently graduated college and needless to say drank a good amount. I've toned it down a lot and usually have a glass of scotch or too one day on the weekend. However every once in awhile (like when I visit my friends from my hometown or go to college) I get pretty drunk. I know not to drink during induction, thats not a problem for me. I am just wondering if people at later stages ever go out and have a lot of drinks or if they pretty much stick to one or two here and there.

Abou to Get Started but have a few Questions
Hey All, I am going to get started on the Induction phase soon ( I will probably wait until after the holiday when its little less hectic and I can focus) and I have a few questions that hopefully you can all answer

1. I picked up the Book The Atkins Essentials at a book sale and read it through. I was wondering for people that have read both this book and the new diet revolution book, if I should pick up the new diet revolution or if the books are similar it what they offer.

2. I should be eating about 2 cups of leafy vegetables (salad) a day, does anyone here buy the prepackaged salad mixes at the store, or does everyone pretty much make their own salads. I only ask because I buy prepackaged salads because I don't even know how to prepare lettuce for a salad ( any tips?)

3. I know your not supposed to drink alcohol during induction but for those who are in the other phases could you tell me how much alcohol you regularly consume and if you ever have any long nights of drinking out since being on the diet. It would be nice to hear from experience in all the phases of the diet on this one.

4. If my goal is to lose about 55-60 lbs (from 255-260 down to 200) how long should I stay on Induction, should i get off it after two weeks or wait until im closer to my goal weight like 220 or something.

Thats all I have for now but please let me know if you can help thanks
