TL:DR Middle aged mum of teens who LOVES Body Pump and HATES celery.

I've dieted on and off my whole life. Biology, upbringing, following the wrong diet advice, becoming a mum and life's ups and downs have all kept me in that cycle. I'll be 50 soon and want to be in the best shape I can for long term health and I NEVER want to yoyo again. Besides anything else it costs a fortune in clothes.

VERY sensitive about giving my teenage daughters healthy messages about food and diet. My only rule: make sure a meal has GOODNESS and FLAVOUR and COLOUR and TEXTURE and LOVE.

I'm doing the Fast 800 diet - lowering (but not cutting) carbs works well for me - in a 5:2 routine since Sept 2020. Got my blue bar after 23kg and 6.5 months. I've 4-6kg left to lose probably but this last bit is really icing on the cake. Or yeast sprinkles on the salad, more like.
