I have been carrying on as normal, even digging in the garden yesterday, but the pain from my buster on the bike on Monday is getting worse.

We did a concert at a Kyogle Aged Care this morning and I took the opportunity to ask a nurse about it. She said I should be resting it, and assured me if I had a cracked rib I would have trouble breathing so that is a relief. I put a chair with solid arms behind my spot and took the opportunity to rest against it now and again.

Got home and made a quick lunch and went down to the church ladies dicussion group, but no-one there had a key to get in (the three with keys weren't there - I suppose they all thought one of the others would surely be there) and the minister was not home (adjacent) so we sat on a log in the sun and chatted for an hour and that was pleasant.

I had a few chores to do and I bought a chocolate when I was picking up a couple of groceries, in symapthy to myself I suppose. I meant to eat only a square or two, but ate half, about 200 calories..... oh well, I won't do it again for a while...LOL.

Hubby got two rabbits out on a property yesterday, probably the only meat that one can be sure is organic and totally grass fed these days? Anyway he has one on steaming now. The meat fell off the bone last time, so tender, and I am looking forward to a treat in about half an hour.

I'll see if my son is on FB for a chat. He was talking about them visiting next week.

Went to walking group this morning. I hadn't been for a while, last week a concert, but for a few weeks before that I was not confident that I could be away from a bathroom for two hours, when I was just veging and not doing much. Feel so much better now.

My side where I fell is quite uncomfortable so didn't wear a bra and had to find a parka to wear, but it was a bit cool and not out of place.

I weighed in this morning and the automatic comment was that I would reach my target in two months. I don't expect that, I think that would be too fast after being overweight for so long.

I saw an article that they are revising the terms of obesity, that a waist measurement of half of height or less is not going to be considered obese. .... OK, I am not quite tall enough.... LOL. I know on the BMI chart even when I reach what I consider my ideal weight, it will still be obese there.

I've been to exercise group, and now enjoying a fresh squeezed lime juice from our tree, on a lovely sunny day. Hubby is pottering around in the yard.

And the best part, at exercises was a friend said "Jan, you're losing weight", and I see her a couple of times a week and she noticed...... and I had to keep on hitching my jeans, have to put a couple of darts in the waistline.... what an incentive!

Actually I fell off the bike on the way there, was looking for the lane to cross over to, and ran off the footpath and the wheel caught parallel between the concrete and grass, and down we went. I'm thankful for my helmet which got a whack, and I've got a couple of tender spots.

Only one concert this week on Thursday, and I've still got some seedlings to plant.

I'm appreciating my miso soup (barley) in the evening, and I vary the veges each time.

I remembered I was a member of another weight-loss site a few years ago, and had a look at it last night, but it is too complicated, perhaps that is why I left it back then! I'm appreciating this site.
