We went to the beach today! I packed breakfast and lunch which was fine, but I ate cheese pizza, french fries, and veggie chips for dinner. I'll log it all tomorrow but I'm beat. The waves were so strong today and I really got a great workout! I'm too tired to remember what all happened yesterday, but I'll clear it up in the morning. Good night.

I had a glass of orange juice with breakfast, a perfectly ripe banana with lunch and a crunchy nectarine after dinner. I haven't craved so much fruit in ages. I guess I needed it. I usually only have enough fruit in the house so that Des has a nice variety to choose from but that fruit bowl was calling my name yesterday. I got within 99% of my rdi which is fine but I've been trying to stay close to 1200.
I couldn't afford my fancy Wasa Fiber crisps or my sandwich thins this week so had to substitute for fat free saltine crackers. I wish whole fresh foods were as inexpensive as fast packaged foods. Ugh, then I tried a new recipe yesterday for chicken salad and it was gross so I wasted a few servings of chicken. I'm going to run out of meals before Friday.
It should be a good pool day. Time to pull more weeds out of the garden. Bed sheets, bathroom, and toy room today.

Our county fair was just as I expected. The kettle popcorn vat was strategically placed right at the entrance flanked by gyros and fried dough. Des basically got whatever he wanted- snow cone, fried dough, french fries, cheeseburger, soda, cotton candy. After 6 hours and $75, we went on every ride, played a few games and we left with 3 junky prizes and a bracelet. Then we hosted another movie on the lawn with buttered popcorn. Yesterday was his "cheat day," not that I'm counting his calories, but his day to be SPOILED. Summer fun!
Anyway, I had 3 french fries, a tear of fried dough, a vanilla custard cone, and a lot of diet soda. Then I drank a lot of beer on the lawn. I stayed under rdi but hardly ate a thing. I'll be back to my planned routine today.

Taking Des to the county fair today. He wants soda, cheese fries, cotton candy, and ice cream. Me too. I will eat my lunch before we leave and resist eating any of those tasty snacks.

I had a peaceful day today. Feeling good. I'm adding a new meal starting tomorrow. I think I'll be doing a lot of math trying to figure out how many calories in a whole rotisserie chicken minus the skin. Any idea how many calories in a store bought rotisserie chicken? I'm going to pick all the meat off... breasts, legs, wings and throw away all the skin and bones. I want to divide all the meat into equal portions, maybe 4 servings?
Oh, actually- I already ate the drumsticks so I'll have to exclude those. ha! yummy.
