losing 1.8 lb a week

Well after a month of no loss, likely since it's been too hot and humid to get out and do much, I've finally made a little bit of progress. At least in all that time I maintained weight. Even though if you consider how many times I went between 228 and 227 I probably lost twenty lbs without going down at all 😂

Well there's a bit if a drop. It's been about three or four weeks since I've had any sort of drop but it's been a lot of things one after another. I had a week long standstill, kidney stones had me down for about eight days, and then the weather has been lousy which has kept me inside more. Let's hope I get back into the swing soon

losing 1.2 lb a week

This isn't too bad. I had a week standstill and then a week with no exercise and erratic eating. Needless to say I was expecting much more gain

gaining 0.5 lb a week
07 July 2016
I have noticed something recently in my inner circle that is interesting to me. Aside from myself, my uncle and my friend's mom were both diagnosed as diabetic in the past twelve months.
Uncle Dave changed his eating style accordingly and began taking medicine (from what I have seen, but his diet is different than mine)
I completely changed the way I eat, I take the medicine and I work out more
But my friend's mom still eats sugary things, drinks wine etc and I've found this annoying, though I'm not sure why. I understand a diet change can be hard and it's not my business but this is someone I am close to who is choosing just to take the pills and not taking any further action to get herself healthy when she knows she has a problem. Maybe it's because of the way she had talked when she was first diagnosed ("Regardless, I consider myself to be diabetic, not just prediabetic")
I just wish I could help people make the best choices even though I know I can't
