Yesterday I was frustrated when I looked at the scale. I thought, oh..only 3 pounds. Well I checked today and its 4 pounds. Must have been a bad day to weigh yesterday and here's what's important...

This is when you get deceived. Those killer weight work outs are working for us. I may not have lost much on the scale. But an inch off my arms? Now thats something to get excited about!

I tried a little experiment this month, I put away the scale. Didn't know how things would go. Well, I lost 3 pounds. Now that is still a loss and I am happy about it. I haven't gotten the measuring tape out. It's a bit of a process (well not really lol) but I'll get those numbers up tomorrow.
I think the scale kept me in check even though I didn't realize it. Seeing it sitting there, knowing I had to get on it at the beginning or end of a week helped me keep my food in check. With it being away I relaxed much more.
This past month I ended up letting myself average out an extra 300 ish calories a day than the past month. I didn't even realize it until I took a look at the numbers last night.
I don't think it's bad. I think it's good to feed yourself and to let yourself eat the things you want when you want them (sometimes).
I have learned what I have always known. Lower carb is better for me. On days when I let in more carbs I become some sort of grazing ravenous animal at night. It's like a switch goes off. I think I''m having a snack and then 20mins later I'm into a full blown meal. It feels a little out of control and I don't like it. I like to eat when I am hungry. Period.
So We're going into 20- 55 carb days here. I usually say I am happiest at 40-60 but we're capping it off a little early this month. Pulling it back together for April. This is going to be an awesome month. It also comes with the beauty of Spring! Keep on rockin everyone :)

Ok, these carbs have to go.
I have been super sick and allowing more carbs in through fruit. The doc told me I need as many vitamins as I can get. But screw this, my tummy is bigger than a basketball. 40-60 carbs tomorrow. Back to my awesome zone :)
