Seeking support
Hi all, I am a bit of an 'old girl' too waiting to have spinal surgery after being told I need to get my BMI down to 30 so I can have the op to put in rods and screws. I have also had 1 x failed hip replacement and 1 x revision hip op leaving me with a weight gain.
So with this in mind and my BMI was 36.4 last October I set myself 1200 calorie a day goal. So 9 months later I have only lost 23lbs.......its harder as I live with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis so metabolism is slow.
Exercise is difficult as is mobility too.
Trying low carb now, anyone any ideas?
