Ok after going to bed feeling bloated and like I was going to explode after only getting through 2230 calories out of 2500 (and calling it a day as I felt like I would die if I ate any more) I decided last night to drop my calories to 2200 and supplement a further 230 odd calories with Protein drinks.
However the bloat has gone this morning and currently after having only eaten breakfast and a boiled egg and an apple I'm feeling like 2500 is the way to go. Maybe I should have a lean day one day a week.
I guess when you feel bloated you feel like your whole effort is heading the wrong way. Truly felt like an epic elephant last night but feel spry and fit (ish) this morning.....

Sh*t just had a protein shake because I thought I was a couple of hundred calories short of my daily count then remembered the two fried eggs I had with my steak for dinner. Doh!

Ok so decided I'm going to see how I've gone at the end of the weekend on 2500 cals, eg weight gain and body fat percentage and then I'm thinking about changing my program a bit. Going to give the 90 minute chest routine a break for a while and instead I'm going to give the 100 push up program a go. Will spend what time I was spending at the gym on more cardio as need to seriously boost my cardio so I can give the Mrs a good run at Squash. At the moment I have upper body strength but she has cardio as she's been doing it for a while now.
Excited to be trying something new. Guess mixing it up is a good shock to the system. Will come back to the chest routine later. Or if I get good results with the 100 pushups program I might start it again but this time with a weight vest.
Feeling positive, cold clearing up, plan in place.

Off work sick again for another day. Still have to fit in 2500 calories though kind of feeling real bleeuugh! Should I still eat 2500 cals when I'll likely be doing no exercise? Today is a gym day which means 40 mins at home followed by an hour and a half at the gym. Not sure I can do that but will have a coffee and a shower and then see how I'm feeling.....
