Buddies! I am so back and ready to kick ass. How I have missed you. My life had changed so much the past month. I’m almost a different person (all in good ways!) Now, it’s time I get back on track here because I have already come so far, I can’t quit now!

I started this journey last October, hen I decided that instead of waiting until New Years to change, it would be my birthday present to me-the present that keeps on giving. Well my 24th birthday is October 24th and I want to get back in the groove so I stop slacking off. I started at 173 and got down as far as 153 but am back up to 159 :( I kind of slacked off a little due to some crazy changes in my life- but no more excuses! I’m gonna find the time to get my exercise in and start doing weights every night again and stretching! I should have a lot more time now. I quit my job a few weeks ago, when my hubby and I learned we could afford for me to go back to school full time and finish my Bachelor’s. So I enrolled at University of South Florida (St. Petersburg campus).

My hubby is freelancing full time now and even though it doesn’t provide much stability, we are getting by just fine and I am so thankful that he is able to provide me with this. I have about 3 semesters left if I can squeeze everything in. It’s been a very emotional journey, and very hard to transition back into a student mode. My classmates are all younger except a few non-traditional, but no one really seems to care or judge. I’m taking a few easy-moderate classes and also Physics and Calculus. Physics I’m fine with so far but Calc is already kicking my but. I am supposed to be studying right now for a quiz tomorrow. I have such weird hours now, but I really love it. My dogs get to be free more during the day and since hubby works for himself, sometimes we are both off on a Friday or during the same hours and we can eat lunch together. It’s very nice. And I am free a lot during the day so I can go running on the beach –like I just did an hour ago! So nice.

As far as this diet goes, I need to be more committed to not eating out so much and only treating myself every now and then, and more importantly- find time to exercise. That should be easy right? I’m working on it. I vow to be more committed to writing here too, and keeping up with my food journal. I think holding myself accountable here again will really get some results. I hope everyone here has been fantastic! I see some of you are so close to your goals! I’m hoping to break 150 by the end of the year, so let’s see if I can do it! Love you all, promise I won’t disappear again, and I Can’t wait to chat with some of you again!
