I got on the scale today expecting to have maintained You ever get that feeling even if you've stayed OP?) ... and lo & behold
I lost 2.8 lbs!
That makes a total of 16.2 lbs that I've shed from my body since re-starting on July 25th.
I bit the bullet last night and ordered a treadmill! It's the Reebok 2.80 HP Crosswalk Treadmill. It will be delivered on October 15th. What I really liked about this one is that it also works your upper body and burns 50% more calories than just regular walking. If you're interested, here's the link:

I talked it over with Mike (DH) and I'm going to convert the spare room into an exercise room. It was supposed to be a guest/craft room - but I think that it would be much for effective as an exercise room! This room is above the kitchen and isolated from the rest of the house - it's just perfect.
Tonight is our monthly dinner with friends. We pick a theme (tonight is Italian Night) and everyone makes a couple of dishes and gathers at my house (I've got the largest dining room table!). Well it seems that tonight is going to be a real challenge! The menu is as follows:
Anti-pasto Salad
Garlic Bread
Chicken roasted with honey, pine nuts, & thyme
Polenta
Eggplant Parmesan
Sausage & Peppers with pasta
Lasagna Florentine
Meat Sauce with Penne
Cannolis
Arrghhh! Can you believe this feast??
I've already got my game plan on and know exactly what I'm going to eat. My friends know that if I don't eat something they make, it's not because I don't like it. Heck, DH will more than make up for what I don't eat!
After dinner we play cards or play a game - it's normally a really fun night and I'm looking forward to seeing our friends.

I'm new around here ... but i'm really loving Fat Secret! I wish I had know about this BEFORE I joined WW's again! I'm planning to quit and save myself the $40 a month - FS makes tracking so simple! And really, what's the most important part to losing weight? Tracking one's food!
