Ugh, weight is up by one pound but I think that is just bloating :( I guess it is another day of guzzling green tea. Even though it is only one pound and I know the reason for it, I am still feeling a little discouraged. It was exciting to be only 10 pounds away from my first goal. I am trying to exercise 6 days this week. So far so good.

TOM is here and I was SO bloated yesterday, I had packed on about 4 lbs overnight. Thankfully through the miracle of guzzling green tea all day yesterday (along with regular meals)it is all gone this morning. I LOVE GREEN TEA!

Made it through superbowl without eating a butt load of garbage! I brought a low fat white bean hummus and a pile of vegetables. I also brought some chickpeas I roasted with olive oil a pinch of cumin, sea salt and brown sugar as an alternative to chips and pretzels. Surprisingly my healthy stuff went the fastest! All the veggies I brought really helped me A LOT, and it was great that everyone else was eating them too and I didn't have to say "no thanks, I'm dieting." I had one beer and enjoyed it!

Holy Cow! This week I am losing really well. I haven't been starving myself at all, in fact we have all been eating really well around here. Considering last week I hardly budged at all maybe my body is playing catch up. I'm not complaining! I got a new cookbook called Eat Shrink and Be Merry and I LOVE it. Last night I made the chicken wing recipe (actually boneless, skinless turkey thighs cut in half)and they were DELICIOUS. I made a pile of them because we had company and I wanted some left over for lunch but they were devoured in nanoseconds. My four year old who hates everything ate more than anyone. I will definitely be making them again.

Feeling pretty good today, the pounds aren't DROPPING off but I have already lost 2 inches off my waist! HOORAY! I got back into my old jeans today!
