losing 1.9 lb a week
12 February 2024
Slipped away during the holidays and in January my focus was elsewhere. Thankfully my gain over the last couple of months was not extreme and I've got my motivation back. On the bright side, it didn't take me 6-8 months, just a smidge over two really. I'm going to call that a positive. Four pounds up. I can knock that out in just a couple weeks! Second day back on track and I already feel better.

No loss this week but that's okay, no gain this week either. And even better, when I did my workout this morning in Supernatural, I FELT stronger. I started with a 23 minute workout and had so much fun with it, I did another one. I figured, with the second one, I'd be so worn out that my score would suffer, but I got triple platinum on both. Then I did a shorter 8-minute low flow and danced my way through it. My steps are a little more energized today and I'm walking tall and proud of my accomplishment this morning!

Between a stomach virus and being ridiculously busy- 2.8 pounds lost over the past week. Not how I want to do it but I'll take it.

Still feeling motivated! I'm taking a different approach this time. I'm not focused so much on melting pounds quickly and reaching a goal weight. That is still important to me of course, but my REAL goal is time. I want to keep doing what I am doing for a full year and I'm taking it one week at a time. In the past, I'd always gotten to about 6 months, lost a good bit of weight, quit making good choices and then gained it all back.
