Thanks for your comment. In this diet you can cook (boil or steam) the veggies (cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, spinach are great candidates. Have in mind that you should not stir fry (using oil). I tried to keep boiled or baked veggies in 30% of the daily intake. Raw veggies (although difficult to digest for some people) keep more nutrients intact such as vitamins. You can grill mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, aubergines or zucchinis, lemon, vinegar and herbs like oregano are ok. This is a natural diet and you get enough protein out of nuts and legumes. Protein is not only in meat. This a common misconception. The frst protein on earth was created when sunshine hit chlorophyll. That's where the cow found it and put in in its muscle. I cannot stress enough how this diet changed my whole life. I used to be very obese (130kg) and this diet detoxified my body and made me loose fat fast. Before getting on this diet, I was also depressed and made thoughts that I could die of heart attack or stroke and never see my son grow up. Now I am very happy, I maintain this weight (with ups and downs up to 5-7kg to be frank) but I feel great, I took up gym training and aerobics and I even fitted in a pair of trousers that had a label stating "Super skinny fit", a long lost dream for me. My wife is a very pretty lady. When we first met (we were students then) we were very fitted to one another because I was athletic and she was a very pretty and fit girl. But then as she grew up to be a fine woman and time has no marks upon her, I got a lot of weight and we looked like comedy. She never stopped loving me (I will be eternally grateful for that) but now she is again in love with me.

Sorry if i got ahead of myself in this post and burden you with details but the point is succeeding in diet is a life changing fact.

If you are serious about loosing weight fast and in a very healthy way what best worked for me is Dr. Fuhrman's Eat To Live diet. Of course not all things work for all people. Just stating my case. I Lost more than 40 Kg in just five months (10 kg per month approx.) feeling great, getting all nutritional foods and dropping toxin-full foods. Check my progress and see how steadily the weight came off. In a nutshell, in a day you eat 4-6 fruits, unlimited raw vegetables, a handful of nuts and a deep plate of legumes (lentils, fava beans, chick peas, beans etc) AND NOTHING ELSE. If it is not in the above list you do not eat it. This includes salt, oils, pasta, bread, meat, chicken, dairy, cheese etc. This diet is not for the weak at heart but when you see the scale dropping down 2-3 kg each week then you happily chew the cabbage like a goat. A great thing about this diet that makes you maintain it is (in spite of most popular diets) YOU DO NOT FEEL HUNGRY. You literally forget about eating. Your mind does not revolve around food. Your body feels fed. Not to mention that your blood tests (cholesterol, blood sugar, etc) will be a right-in-the-middle-of-normal and calibrate-the-equipment level.
