I have Insulin Resistance, Hypertension, High risk of heart disease and kidney disease and a fatty liver. Joined a program for weight loss and lifestyle change and meet with a Dietitian monthly to reverse my health problems, prevent diabetes and move from obese to healthy weight. Unlearning all my bad habits and diet fads that brought me here.

Seeking support
Hi, I am not quite an "old girl" but I have problems with my hip and knees. I was diagnosed as patellofemoral syndrome, so even walking up stairs can be a challenge, and I have to be really careful about walking up and down hills and exercize. I am going to get a bike in June (shortage cause of covid) and try to ditch my car for the summer and most of the fall. I live in Canada where there is lots of snow and ice, so winter biking is out. I am also interested in swimming and walking until my issues heal.

I hope losing the weight and eating a low inflammatory diet helps with my current leg issues! I feel the frustration.
