Jesus kept the Jewish food laws...He never ate pork, shellfish, unclean birds which i think actually includes chicken and turkey. I'm not sure if He ate the passover lamb...some say He was a vegetarian as He was an Essene but obviously He thought it was okay to feed us fish...fish would have to be kosher so that means it has to have both fins and scales.

Clean fish would be salmon, mackerel, sardines, cod, herring, sea bass, sole, tuna, bream, haddock, plaice....anything with fins and scales.

Unclean would be prawns, mussels, crab, lobster, clams, skate, monkfish, dogfish, eel, squid, octopus, skampi, shark....anything without fins and scales or with a shell...these fish if you think about it are the filters of the sea....they literally eat the crap and they can kill you if they are off as they produce deadly toxins so obviously God had good reasons to tell us not to eat these things and that's what i love about His word it's all good advice and backed by science and even if we don't understand why, we all benefit from doing what He tells us and from not doing what He tells us not to do.
