Have not been hungry today!! I have had to make myself eat. At first I thought it was because I used a really strong mouth wash mid-day, then I got to thinking about the Metformin(diabetes) medication and wondering if that had something to do with it. It's a new medicine for me and I just had it refilled a few days ago. Either way I am happy but I made a delicious looking shrimp salad today was not interested in it and could not taste it either other to realize it was burning my mouth from the spices. Oh well, guess I will not have to worry about snacking tonight.
Breakfast:
1 egg with mushroom, onions and two slices of tomatoes
1 slice of ham steak
Lunch:
Oscar Mayer Protein snack
Dinner:
Shrimp Salad

Oscar Mayer P3 portable protein packs..I purchased a few of them the other day. Of course I looked in the pack and said I could really make my own but purchased it anyway. Figured it would be cool to have the pack at work with me and it would give me the right portion. They are great and really filling. So, I made sure I counted the pieces so I would know how to portion my own out. I will recycle the containers and portion my own out in them and cover them with saran wrap. I know I'm silly but hey it will make me feel as if I am doing the right portion each time. Great for a snack or just. However for those watching sodium intake it does have 420grams.

Good Morning,
Snowed in with the kids today. Actually, the roads are a sheet of ice so that is why we have closings and delays. However, I am happy to report that eating a bit more yesterday moved those scales. I really can't think of any other reason I would have lost. I did walk around the supermarket and helped bring the grocery in the house so that could have helped to. DOWN 2 POUNDS!!! I feel really good. Now, today is suppose to be a eat less day. So, haven't planned that schedule out yet, but breakfast I'm thinking about an omelete for me and a breakfast wrap for the boys. Oh no forgot to purchase salsa. Oh well, maybe I have some type of sauce that can be used.

Sister noticed weight loss!!! Yay! I planned to bundle up and put on extra padding when venturing out with my sister, because for some reason she knows every bump, roll, and jiggle I have. So, I was not stunned when she said you are losing weight when I got in her truck. Honestly, I was suppose to bundle up and put on my big coat hoping to mask the lost. I quickly played it off by saying "girl, I am as big as ever and I am about to go get more food so I can eat more." I do not want her to know what I am doing. She always try to make it a competition and for some reason it doesn't work when we do it together. I just want to do things on my own. We have a girl's day out each month, so I am going to have to figure out a way to bulk up in clothing and make healthy food choice around her without her all up in my business.
Had a great turkey burger and summer squash on the side. I know it doesn't sound like something that would go together but it satisfied my taste buds just fine. Loved the taste of the turkey great change from chicken and ground beef. Maybe eventually I will pull away from the red meat altogether.
