How do I find and log my first food?

Food logging is the tool used in the fatsecret app that helps you track your calorie intake and understand whether you’re on target to reach your weight loss goals. To do this:

  1. Open your Diary in the app.
  2. Tap on the '+' button next to a meal category (e.g. Breakfast)
  3. Go to the Food tab and enter the product name in the search bar.
  4. Once you have located a match, adjust the serving size to reflect what you ate.
  5. Select Save.
