Lost a little my first week. Just keeping track of what I eat is very humbling. I’m 6’2”, 52, and have always struggled with my weight. I own an Italian restaurant so I live with my addiction 24/7. Like an alcoholic owning a bar. I love food and have always used it to comfort me or calm me down or something to do when I am bored. Obviously not what food is for. I have an amazing hot wife, God is good, and 4 beautiful kids. Moms genes were dominant, again, God is good. My doctor had recommended gastric sleeve surgery but I need to deal with why I eat the way I do it I will just gain it all back. Soooo, here is my plan. 1. Start talking to God about why I do what I do when it comes to food and start running to him instead of food. 2. Journal my food so I know what I am actually putting in my mouth. 3. Do a modified Keto plan and really cut back on carbs. No pasta, pizza, bread, basically everything that I make at my place. But, I can reinvent my recipes to Keto. I hope to share that with everyone. 4. Maybe do a IF and just eat from 12-6. I’m so busy in the AM that I really don’t get hungry till 12. 5. My son is a Crossfit trainer so I may start doing that again. But before that just a lot of walking, maybe 2-3 miles a day. Ok, so that’s it in a nutshell. My request is that you all pray for my success and I will pray do anyone who wants me too. I know from a 20 month separation that God can do anything and that when we humble ourselves before him , and others he will do “miracles” in our lives. “All things work together for ...”
