I think I’m doing well counting calories because it makes me accountable. For instance I can be in a grocery store and see a candy bar. Normally I’d be like, “hmm, that looks nice. Let me get it to have a little snack.” But then I remember , “aww man, I got to log that in FatSecret!” Once I look at the amount of calories, which is generally a calorie count for 1/3 to 1/2 a meal, I put the candy bar down and go about my business.

So counting calories keeps me from eating when I don’t necessarily need to eat!
213.4 lb Lost so far: 14.6 lb.    Still to go: 13.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
