boneca linda's Journal, 01 February 2018

Hi guys, I have been trying to eat right but it gets hard during lunch time as I don’t have time to prepare meals the night before and I work all day. Any suggestions on some easy healthy snacks for lunch without having to prepare ?

⭐Take shredded chicken, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, sliced cheese, crackers (ricecakes and all that stuff). ⭐when im lazy, i make (Bulgar Wheat, Millet, Couscous) - Just add water. leave it on my desk. Have frozen peas, let them defrost through out the day in my lunch bag. ⭐(You can try chicken) and have lettuce and Cherry Tomatoes, cucumber. that could turn out to be some chicken tabouli salad. also, leave some stuff in your desk drawer

i have to share my further thoughts on this matter - I am a single mom with a 1 year old and 9 year old, I leave the house at 06h00 in the morning and return at 18h00 at night - I work full time and cook, clean and do the laundry myself - if you are serious about losing weight you will fine a way to make your food if not... you will find an excuse - losing weight is the hardest thing to do and there are no easy ways or short cuts - it takes dedication to YOURSELF. you matter and only you can make the change. i have to be hard cause being fat isn't nice and no more sugar coating the truth (sugar makes fat)

Almonds are my go to snack. And they actually make you feel full.

This is where I just opt for a good meal replacement shake

Once a week I boil eggs, pack 10 almonds into little bags, a piece of fruit etc. Then I just grab in the morning. I cook extra in the evenings and pack left over supper for lunch the next day
