After being stalled for 6 weeks, I tried the fat fast to get things moving again. (4 days ago) I'm happy to say it's working. I'm going back to OWL tomorrow.
145.4 lb Lost so far: 5.6 lb.    Still to go: 10.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Diet Calendar Entry for 17 April 2010:
1315 kcal Fat: 95.26g | Prot: 80.87g | Carb: 26.91g.   Breakfast: Sour Cream, Sugar Free Chocolate Syrup, Coffee (Brewed From Grounds, Decaffeinated), eggs. Lunch: Sugar Free Chocolate syrup, Traditional Half & Half, Chicken Wings. Dinner: Meat Loaf with Beef, Veal and Pork. Snacks/Other: Sugar Free jello, Dry Roasted Macadamia Nuts (with Salt Added). more...
losing 3.5 lb a week

this may seem like a silly question, but what is the fat fast?

It's in Dr. Atkins book "New Diet Revolution" pgs.272-274. It forces the body into liposis. Also by lower the caloric intake accelerates the need to burn up body fat. He only recomends doing it if you have a high Metabolic Resistance. And its only ment to get you started in liposis. A week a most. Then go back to induction or OWL.
