I did what I vowed for 3 weeks straight: no cookies, candy or ice cream. Now that I have allowed myself some ice cream bars in the house shows that I cannot have them in the house because I can't eat just one! A box in the freezer is too much a temptation. So I am like an alcoholic, I can't have just one. It's sad but true, but hey, sugar is a drug. The sugar industry likes it that way. They are making billions off of us and we are pretty helpless to fight them because it seems like such an innocent product for children especially. So it sneaks into our lives like a predator that didn't know what hit us. So I am going to treat it like a drug. I have no desire for drugs because I have heard how powerful they are. So is sugar and fat for that matter. Humans have this genetic urge to safeguard ourselves against the long famine of the past with fatty food. I must focus on the good that happened in January. I lost 8!
164.0 lb Lost so far: 6.0 lb.    Still to go: 39.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
