ok...not 2 bad considering i gave myself a well deserved cheat day...i try 2 do that once a week so i dont drive myself completely nuts. god made the world in 6 days & allowed himself the 7th day for rest so thats my philosophy (which some might not agree with) & it works 4 me. BUT i might try 2 do it biweekly considering i only lost 3 lbs this past week :0( continuing phase 1.....
157.0 lb Lost so far: 13.0 lb.    Still to go: 37.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I think 3 lbs in a week is good weight loss. You can't expect the bigger weight loss results on phase one if you cheat on it. Its not a good idea to stay on phase one more than 3 weeks. The purpose behind it (if you didn't cheat) was to rid your body of the cravings and urges to binge that those other foods cause. You really can't do that going back and forth too often. Its okay if you've been on phase 2 for a while, took a cruise and came back and went back to phase one again. Your body needs the grains and fruits and you need to re-introduce them to youself slowly and learn how your body responds to them, which ones "trigger" cravings, et.. its all in the book. If you find phase one too difficult you might want to try just going to phase 2, take a 1-2 lb a week weight loss and maybe be able to manage it without cheating??? just an idea, but at least you ARE LOSING and thats GOOD, eh!
