I had NO idea how many calories I was eating until I started keeping track. Not very easy for me. Looks like I will need to train myself in what to eat and not to eat again 😕
190.4 lb Lost so far: 3.6 lb.    Still to go: 31.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Do anything for a minimum of 10 days and it becomes habitual. You're on a positive track.

Me too, when I first started. I saw my carb intake was nearly 400 grams - unbelievable!

Nice loss!🙋🏻It's always a huge eye opener to start recording for most people unless they are or have lived most of their lives with diabetics or someone else who closely monitors a diet. Even then, portion creep, is very easy to have happen, especially when quite a few manufacturers understate what the nutrition facts are on the packaging!🤷🏻‍♀️Scales and measuring is a PITA but after a few months you become much more adept at the estimates and are hardly ever off. But even after years now I still weigh portions. And it helps to record to keep myself accountable for what I eat. 🤷🏻‍♀️Not to beat myself up. Just so I remember that I ate such and such and so I REALLY shouldn't have that other piece of whatever that tastes so good because I already indulged myself today. 😋
