Have started a plant based food diet but technically it isn't a diet. Plant base food regiment has been around when Christ walked this earth. It's all about eating right and staying away from process foods such as diary, fish, meat, process foods from a can or from a box. It's all about eating vegetables and fruits. I started doing this July 1st and have lost 31 pounds, there are no calories to count eat as much as you want, if your looking to drop weight, then reduce the about you eat. I don't crave for meat, chicken, sweets or any kind of junk food. What you are doing basically, changing what you eat. For some this would be difficult especially, if like sweets, bread, or meat. The health benefits are overwhelming, checking it out on the Internet.

I eat lots of produce myself, limited grains, but i do eat dairy and egg whites. I am lacto-ovo vegetarian, so I don't eat meat, poultry, fish, or seafood, but I include egg yolks in that because of their cholesterol content. Still trying to come up with menus for Christmas and Easter, though, and possibly Pentecost.

I started with the anti-inflammatory diet, I have lupus, fibromyalgia and my body hurt all the time, so I decided to try it. I love this diet and feel so much better since I have done this. I don't eat any starches, no bread, pasta, no corn potatoes, no sweets and no sugar free drinks, don't even use artificial sweetners, I limit my red meats, chicken, fish and pork are my basic meats, I eat a lot of vegetables, fresh when I can, fruits, but no canned fruits, no processed meat. I love my new eating habits, it has become my life style foods, I'm the happiest I've been knowing I am doing my body a big favor, and have lost 110 in less then a year! I will never go back to my bad eating habits.
