I'm kind of discouraged! Only one #. I thought that I had done really well this week. My last week was so great that I got all pumped up. Maybe I need to more closely follow the calorie count - or exercise more. Oh well - back to it this week again!
139.0 lb Lost so far: 7.0 lb.    Still to go: 14.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

WOW great job on total wt loss new to the site did Atkins in my twenties always worked have 28lbs of baby weight to loose! Goal more like 58 lbs but need to get the first portion off. Any tips on Atkins you'd like to share not big on meat so I have discovered lightlife products this week little higher in carbs but don't get grossed out. Actually looking for a fake egg product to bind veggies etc any tips?? CM

You are already at a low weight and only have a small amount to lose, so that one pound is pretty great. Go take 4 sticks of butter out of the fridge because that is what one pound of fat would look like. If you think about it, it's a lot. There's a poem called "only one pound", you should google it. It's really cute and puts a pound in to perspective.

Thanks! You're right. I am so prone to beat myself up though!! About 5 years ago I lost 5o# on Atkins and I guess I expected it to be the same - but I'm 5 years older now too, and do have less to lose so I guess it will be slower. I'm going to find that poem today and print it out and paste it on my bathroom mirror! THanks for the support!!

Well, sadly, I updated my weights to be appropriate for my new scale. Still plugging along, doing well...but now - farther away from my goal weight. But I WILL get there!!!
