I thought the animal protein was increasing the inflammation but when I tried substituting nuts and seeds for meat it got worse instead of better. Then I read that the balance between omega 3 and omega 6 is unfavorable in nuts and seeds. for instance, walnuts have omega 3 but they have many times as much omega 6. also, as soon as i added fruit back into my diet, i felt weak and foggy. so it's back to keto i go.
