Determined not to let a big family bombshell knock me off my plan. Chose to delay a cheat meal/treat until I'm in better headspace since I feared a domino effect back into eating junk and way too many sugary foods. I've experienced such a positive response in my mind and body with this one small bit significant change.
Tonight I invited a friend who often skips meals to come by and partake of my newly discovered, and delightful pita pizzas. ~~ Also spent time walking in the Arboretum today which was unseasonably temperate. it was lovely; everything is in full summer bloom and radiated positively posh on the senses. Feeling fortunate. Depspite the drama this week has been very good. A few lucky nuggets have come my way. On Monday an interview for a much needed and hoped for part time job will happen. I'd say I'm a shoe- in. If not another opening recently presented itself as well.
My pets are well after both had spells of sudden illness very close together. That was rough on all of us. Feeling moments of grace helping me through. Hope to be able to help a loved one through her own food/ weight plan in the near future.
