there has to be something wrong with this scale... it doesn't move an ounce. Maybe that is a good thing..bc I would be happy with an ounce lost, but an ounce gained wouldn't make me happy!

I'm trying something new this week - the Dr Oz grapefruit detox.

i tried it this weekend for a day, after overindulging the night b4 and I wasn't hungry. So, I'll give it a shot.

According to the show, you can lose up to a lbs a day. I know a lot of it will be water, but even if it is a good 2 lbs, that will be good. As long as I'm not hungry I can pretty much deal with any kind of diet. However, I tried the Pomeroy diet - 4get it! just too unpractical...

The grapefruit diet is about portion control, which is my big problem with diets. it's quantity that comes into question, and not quality.

we shall see. Fingers crossed.
172.8 lb Lost so far: 6.2 lb.    Still to go: 33.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Whenever I plateau I drastically change up the menu and it works every single time. Another thing that works is changing your cardio (e.g. running for zumba, biking for rowing, aerobics for boxing).

lol - this is not a plateau - i'm at the very beginning of a weight loss journey! I do hope I've not plateaud after losing 2 lbs. !
