Look at the world around you. Really see it. We become so focused on ourselves, our problems, our wants and needs that we often lose sight of he glories of nature. We forget to see the miracles of living each and every day. We were blessed with several days of glorious sunny weather. Even though I worked I slipped out to feel the sun for a few minutes. The dreariness of winter disappeared for a bit with the sun. I haven't been losing weight but I haven't been gaining either. I have been conscientiously adapting healthier eating patterns for me...these are not low fat and high carb. I have eliminated processed foods. I have added coconut oil in place of other oils/fats. My skin is becoming soft and smooth. I feel good. I love to eat meats and veggies. I regret the moments every few days when I have "fallen off the wagon" and eaten donuts and goodies brought by clients and co-workers...these don't even taste good to me anymore so why do I eat them? Finding the discipline to stick to my eating plan and not get sidelined by goodies is my next goal. I am eating well other than these moments and I know the weight loss will come if I maintain my very modest low carb eating pattern without "splurges".
164.0 lb Lost so far: 3.0 lb.    Still to go: 39.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
