Well, it has been one week! I have lost 8 pounds and although I am not seeing any difference in my body or on the measuring tape, I am proud that I am following it this far. Today is the first day that I had ANY simple carbohydrates and that was in the homemade chicken soup that Jenn made, I wasn't going to turn it down. I am only using less than one tablespoon of sweetner in three glasses of iced tea, so I am not getting any sweet-tasting foods/drinks. I also have not been craving any. It is always easy for me when I first start out, the hard part is after I have been dieting for weeks and the scale refuses to move. I am hoping that if I plateau, I am able to stick it out. I really am ready to get my weight below 200 and keep it there. I am tired of being fat. So..... here we go to another successful week!!!!
