The raised beds I made yesterday for the neighbour went well - She was delighted, however It was very hard work for me as I had a lot of earth to move around - I was shattered afterwards. I am now just about through 7th day of 16hr IF and finished a second sub 20g carb day. Prior week totals, less than two units of alcohol and average cal intake under 1500 cals per day. Basically I have thrown the kitchen sink at the diet.

The first day of wearing a fit bit was good it tells me that I used up 3658 cals and ate only 1373 cals. Quite a large deficit. Today will be a much quieter day - I have work a lot of H&S documents to complete.

Target today two things under 20g carbs and over 10000 steps. I am still trying to decide food wise how to approach my holiday - Mostly we will be eating in. A low carb week is probably impossible to orchestrate with Claire cooking only for two of us instead of three. I'm thinking a very simple under 2200 calories each day for the week and lots of walking? Other Holiday tips welcome that will not piss off my non dieting wife?

Great loss! Um! I have no clue how not to piss off your non-dieting wife .... as I am on the different side of the coin. I have a non-dieting hubby and he is always skeptical of my low carb cooking. LOL!

Similar - She thinks that I am not eating enough veg coz I only have about 150g per day. On my Hols I will not realistically keep below 20g of carbs per day - I will try and do a lot of mini power walks and try to maintain a calorie deficit ideally -1000. I also need to take the kitchen and bathroom scales away -Thats not going to go down well.

Great job! I find if I stick to meat and veggies it helps me stay in range. Throw in some cheese sticks and or nuts and your're good to go! Frigo makes Cheese Head Colby Jack cheese sticks that are really yummy! I get them at Walmart. :-)

Yep I think thats it going to be meat and veg but missing out chips/pototoe/rice/pasta as often as possible - I have booked us into a five course fine dining meal one night - I will have to eat all of that whatever it is.
