Sherillynn's Journal, 25 January 2017

Looks like we got about 6 inches of big fluffy snow last night. Hirschl, my standard poodle, and I went out and played in it at around 11pm. It was a lovely game of chase. Of course he won! He is SO fast and loved speeding through the snow in the moonlight.

Finally another budge in my weight. I tried on my size 18 jeans last night. I was able to get them on, however, if I had to go somewhere in them and sit down, I would be in trouble. I am making progress!

I was even amazed on the way home from FL. I was comfortable in the seat on the airplane. I didn't feel like I was spilling over. So many of these small details really make life better and more satisfying.

I also feel like I have more energy and stamina. While we were walking around, I didn't feel sluggish. Instead, I felt energized and alive!

Life is good. What are your small achievements that you've noticed? How are you feeling better?

Blessings to all.

You are doing great. Those small wins and changes are HUGE, too aren't they? I've been making great strides the past 3 months, like I've never really thought possible. I keep changing the game as I learn new information, experiment with it and find results not just on the scale but with my health, sleep and energy levels. My first big win was doing Bright Line Eating for 30 days back in November. I lost 11 lbs that month and felt "free" from the craving monsters in my head. That was the biggest win. In December I expanded my knowledge base and gained some insight from a book (free on line) called "Never Binge Again." I also became very strict about noting eating anything after 7:30 pm since insulin resistance starts to rise around 7 pm and that's when you'll pretty much store any food as fat and slow down the body from it's normal detox routine. That was another huge help. I lost 8 lbs in December. This month I've been studying Ray Cronise's work and doing some intermittent fasting plus cutting out as much added oil/salt from diet as I can. So far this month I've lost 7 lbs. I haven't been at this weight in or in these clothes since 2012! It's a big deal for sure. Thanks for sharing. I miss the snow being here in AZ. Keep up the good work. We're all in it to win it.

I still feel "odd" in my smaller body. I tend to turn sideways to get thru an aisle, I "pull" myself up stairs when I can just go up without doing that. Went on a plane also and always worried if seat belt would fit. Tried to make sure on aisle or by husband so didn't "touch" other person. Went to a movie and easily fit in seat. So many things that were stressful in every day life I don't have to worry about anymore. It is a great feeling, like a weight has been lifted off me, truly no pun intended! AND I need to look for that book, Selbygirl!
