I am used to weighing myself every day and I'm getting told I shouldn't do that. Stuff like salt, water, etc. are messing with this diet! I realize it's a lifestyle change not a quick diet, but I'm just a very impatient person!
230.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 60.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 10.5 lb a week

I'm with you there!! I weigh myself every morning and after this morning, I wish I wouldn't! I've been doing so well and then this morning, I gained 2.8 pounds! Ugh!! I wish you lots of luck on your diet!! :)

If the daily fluctuations of the scale don't bother you, than there's nothing wrong with weighing daily. If the daily fluctuations cause you to be depressed and want to give up, then it would probably be better to weigh once a week.

I'm in such a habit of weighing myself because I have done HCG in the past, and saw the pounds drop every morning. I'm worried if I weigh myself once a week and I am the same or even gain after all my work, I'll be even more discouraged than I would be weighing myself everyday in the mornings! I'm still hovering around the same number though, and this "diet" (lifestyle) seems to be working well for me. So I'm not gonna give up just yet!
