Wow so I hopped on the scale today and it was definetly under 145 lbs. I'm so proud of myself but I'm really REALLY shocked at the same time. Is it normal to lose 6 lbs in a person's very first week of watching their caloric intake? I didn't even really follow it every day either. I'm amazed. And I look skinnier around my waist!

Yes - we first lose a lot of 'water weight' and the calorie reduction is the push you needed.Congrats and stick with it as the weight loss slows down!
