Last night I was SOOO cold, I went to bed at 6pm and had the hubby put about 5 quilts on me. Chills were horrible. Woke up at about 11pm and was hot! Other than that I felt great. Wonder if I was fighting off some sort of bug. The subzero weather didn't help either but I just couldn't get a grip on keeping myself warm. That never happens to me. Usually I am just the opposite.
At any rate, feeling better today and hoping the weather is nice enough that I can take Hirschl outside to walk.
221.5 lb Lost so far: 15.5 lb.    Still to go: 61.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

sherillyn, how long have you been eating like this? I'm LCHF and have been told that is probably the reason why I'M so cold 😉 We used to keep the house at 65 in the winter and now it's at 72, or 74 if I want my fingers to actually warm up!

@Tlschwenn- the wind chill here was -29 yesterday. I am not usually cold and I am back to normal today! (AND the temp is back above zero!)

Keto eating has not affected my temperature regulation; I stay warm. However, thyroid issues can cause you to not be able to warm up. If you 're often cold, or have cold extremities, get your thyroid checked out.

I'm in Madison, WI so we've had some of the same temps 😒 is it over YET??? @ Erika, I've had my thyroid checked and it's normal. Walmart had some huge plush blankets on sale for $8 so we bought 4 lol

I'm always cold now that I've lost weight. I thought it was because I don't have as many "layers"...
