Happy Thursday! Next week I will start doing my 16:8 intermittent fasting with my keto. The scale is slowing returning to my pre-thanksgiving binge weight and its driving me nuts. Ive decided not to be a slave to the scale, and use my tape measure more next year! For the month of January im going to try NSVs (non scale victories)like buying things 1 size smaller for starters. Today is my companys Christmas party and like every year for the past 5 years I've been here its been catered by Cracker Barrel, and they go ALL out. Turkey, stuffing and gravy, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, rolls and an assortment of desserts. I'm going to enjoy my keto lunch of buttery cabbage cooked in bacon grease and pork steaks that I made for dinner last night. Ive never been a fan of bacon (what kind of monster am i, right?) but since starting my keto diet its been a staple in my diet. I made 2 servings of cabbage and steak so that i can have lunch for today and wouldn't be tempted to eat all the carbs they'll be giving away. It was so delicious, I almost didn't have none left for lunch lol. The good thing is im not a sweets person so i can breeze by the cake and pie table...but the stuffing is going to be hard lol
