hi, hope i'm not too forward commenting on your post. I'd say be careful about (very) low calory diets. Those have always worried me a little because it becomes such a willpower issue. Also, be mindful about bouncing back if you go back to old eating patterns. But good for you, it seems to work :)
I'm on a 2000 cal diet myself, it's helped me plan in what I can eat every day so that I have enough energy to do what I want, and it's teaching me what foods are good for me. (energy rich food means I can't eat so much of it, so I prefer low energy high volume :D )
