Being snowed in without power for 30 hours was a challenge. Especially the fact the without heat the house was in the 40 degree range and we were very uncomfortable. I did have a Bourbon over ice last night which I decided was the closest I could come to comfort food. There are no carbs in Bourbon but there are in bread and cocoa and the things I was craving. Luckily I was able to cook but really we were handicapped once the sun went down and so cold. ALso couldn't journal and I see that I had many more calories than usual.howEver this AM I jumped out of my sweats to weigh in and I have lost two pounds so I am pretty happy. I will weigh in again tomorrow because it is monday and I will have BEEN ON INDUCTION 29 days Mon to Mon and I want to see where I am. Then Tues wil be a month so of course I will weigh in then. Hope I lose a little more. If shivering and shovelling burn up calories I am golden.
