my weight is standing still can someone help me please
178.1 lb Lost so far: 6.2 lb.    Still to go: 29.3 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Try dropping your carbohydrate intake by about 30%. That should do the trick, as long as you keep exercising.

I forgot to add: Don't be too worried that your weight doesn't constantly go down. Sometimes we manage to gain lean mass AND lose fat, therefore the steady body mass. If you LOOK better, then fantastic.

There's lots of ways to make the weight drop. One way is to reduce the carbs. A low carb day that usually fires up some losses is by keeping carbs to about 30g to 50g for the day. Another method is to follow a fasting lifestyle. Read up on www.thefastdiet.co.uk

Plateaus are common, especially in the early days. Experiment with your diet, dropping your carbs is a good idea, but you will find the formula that works for you, just keep going. I'm a great advocate of exercise and walk every day, walking further as I get faster within the same time period. It's working for me as is my current diet (I chopped and changed until I found the right balance). You'll soon see it shift, good luck!
