Ughhh--guess this Prednisone does cause weight gain even if I was only on it 10 days----gotta love it--can pack it on a week it will take me a month to lose it---back to the drawing board :(

186.2 lb Lost so far: 20.8 lb. Still to go: 6.2 lb. Diet followed reasonably well.

gaining 4.0 lb a week

I had to take prednisone for a year and a half. It works - but the aftermath is a b*tch

Yes it does. My wife has to take that crap occasionally because of her lungs and she always complains that her clothes get too tight when taking it.
