From your diet calendar, it looks like you may be eating too many calories for your current weight. Cut it down to 1400 or 1500 a day to start. You have to play around with them and see what amount will let you lose weight. Make sure your getting enough lean protein from a variety of sources. Protein helps you build muscle and lose fat. Fruits and veggies are high fiber foods and help keep you fuller longer. Drink enough water/liquids to flush out sodium. Keep changing things up. Measure out your portions (it's way to easy to miscalculate food we are eating). Be active! By a pedometer and try to get in 10,000 steps a day. Get some workout dvd's. Activity burns calories. Good luck!

Good Advice Suzi161, but most of all dont look at it as a diet, look at it as a life style change. Diets are depressing, you want to liven up your life, to do so you need lean protiens and fruits and veggies. Cut back on the high carb foods. To be honest, I dont measure anything, just use the quater, golfball and handful measurements, its easier. plus your not wasting time and spending money on needless scales. I lost over 100# in a year and half this way. This is a no nonsense challenge, I want everyone to learn to make healthy eating and excercise part of a healthy lifestyle. Diets are temporary, once off, it seems everyone forgets what they learned. If you incorporate small changes into your everyday life, you will start to see a difference. Dont make it harder than it is. Remember to see your doctor before starting any exercise program, but just start by walking, that will get your heart pumping, keep your weightloss goals realistic and do them in increments. Dont cut to many calories then you will go into store and survive mode, use several online calorie calculation tools, to get an idea of where you should be at, or ask your doctor. Remember, you should be having fun, dont get discouraged, if you excercise regularly, it will happen. Remember, lay off the rice! LOL
