I'm getting burnt out on Atkin's. I'm still kinda doing it, but its hard to stay committed. I have started working out about 3 days a week. The weight is not melting off anymore, and I am getting frustrated. But I am still losing... just very slowly.
195.0 lb Lost so far: 19.0 lb.    Still to go: 25.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

don't get frustrated! keep going, you can do it. i know you don't know me, but i read your entry in the main page of the website and i wanted to cheer you. i see you've lost a lot of weight already... that's hard and admirable. you can lose more if you want :)

It is easy to get frustrated when the pounds don't melt off like they do at the beginning. Just keep focused on your goal. If you feel you want to lose more quickly just cut back a little on carbs. Lose weight at the rate you feel comfortable, but experts agree that 2lbs per week is maximum for keeping it off. And I know you want to keep it off after all this hard work. Keep it up. You have come so far already! You are almost half way to your goal.

It is so hard when the weight slows or stops and it is so easy to just throw the towel in when you feel discouraged. Don't give up! I am a perfect example of someone who gave up and now I have to start all over again. Don't make the same mistake that I did! Keep up the good work!
