Please don't congratulate me on the loss. Its something of a false positive due to differences in time of day from my last weigh-in <3

I don't typically weigh in more than once a week, but I usually shoot for first thing in the morning on Saturday and/or Sunday (I'll typically do both and take whichever was higher). However, the last weigh-in I did a few days ago was in the afternoon, mainly because I wanted to get my numbers back into view.

Hopefully I can get myself back into weighing regularly in the weekend mornings.

Trying to wean myself off of sugar, as I've grown accustomed to a piece of candy in the afternoons. We had cake two days in a row at work. Managed to hand my day one piece off to a coworker (success!) but then had a small slice on day two (it tasted AMAZING, and I don't feel as bad about it as I probably should).

I was looking into trying a meal-replacement bar again (failed with that in the past because of the mentality of "Oh, it was just a bar, that's not a meal" followed by more food), but I think I'm going to stick with 'actual' meals, because these bars aren't much better for you than a moderated meal.

We leave in 21 days for Japan! Super excited! On the health front, I have little to no concerns as overall they tend to eat healthier than we do in America, and we'll be doing a LOT of walking.

I also wanted to thank those of you who have stuck by me through my ups and downs. While my SO is supportive, its a little different as he's not dieting, so the pitfalls I face he doesn't fully understand. You guys do though, and ya'll are some serious inspiration!

Happy Saturday!

I lived in Iwakuni for 2 years. I was stationed at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan. The people and food are AMAZING. I want to go back one day and visit. Super clean and the people were super polite.
